I've come across a 1958 GE fridge nearby in what looks like really good condition (based on the listing photos). I've been keeping an eye out for boxy bottom-freezer refrigerators and would prefer a GE Americana (perfect size, love the counter space and lighting, seems like parts are easier to find than some other older fridges, etc), but my husband's into the idea of the lazy Susan shelves in this one.
Does anyone have any experience with this model? Looking for a general idea of their longevity, ease of repair, design flaws, etc. I've googled and haven't found any extensive reviews on it. Thanks in advance for any wisdom you can share!
