Wish it was close to me,too-but for the $250 the turntable should work.Would want to try this for myself before paying them 250 bucks even if the TT worked.

That is a Nice Magnavox, and the price
is on the higher side, but keep your eyes
open. You'll find a great console when the
right one comes along and for the right price.

I'd love to have, or save, everyone of them,
but we all know it's not an easy thing to do.

Frankly, I don't think that price is too high. The sliding top is glass. Most of them don't survive. "Turntable doesn't work" is pretty common for consoles. Being mostly mechanical things they are usually an easy fix. That's a nice cherry cabinet too.
