1959 whirlpool top load portable dishwasher

This dishwasher without wash any top load portable dishwasher ever made in the US, its secret to great washing was not only extremely powerful pump, but the fact that it had two separate detergent washes was the main advantage.

Both KitchenAid, of course, and Maytag had top loading portable dishwashers with powerful pumps But neither one of them had the better double wash that this whirlpool has.

This whirlpool would go through a rinse to warm everything up, rinse away, excessive food soil, drain and refilland then release the chlorinated phosphated detergent, and wash for a few minutes then rinse away that and further warm up the dishes with the hot water coming into the machine, and then it would fill again and go into the main wash dispensing more detergent, two more rinses and it was done.
