I have recently moved in my grandparents home which has the original kitchen appliances. They work with some issues. Can someone point me in the right direction for parts such as burners (couple are slow to heat) and knob and thermostat for top wall oven?

Yeah, you've got some issues with the wrong elements somewhere on that cooktop. Suburban out of Chattanooga made low-end built-ins and camper stoves (think they actually still make those). You probably have 7 discrete heats on the switches--I imagine that the thick coils are the correct ones; and they're probably Frigidaire but not for sure.

I am sure dad put the wrong ones in as couldn't find the right ones easily. I am sure is supposed to be the large coils. The griddle one is large one. Griddle not work right now. I want to get the right ones if can find them. That is what was getting me.. the Suburban name on it but nothing online but camper appliances. They all work but I know I am on borrowed time with them.
Thank you so much for responding.

I'll defer to some of the more knowledgeable about, but think that if you'll look up Frigidaire Radiantube you might find the right replacements (along with the burner supports). Neither GE Calrod nor Westinghouse Corox would be the right replacements. Also think there was posted to the board a marketing leaflet a couple years ago from Suburban.

Those units

Are T K Monotubes, 3 wire I would bet,Frigidaire units are similar, but have different bowls and supports, you CAN replace these as was done with the one with Chromalox 3 wire units. TK stands for Tuttle and Kift, these units were used on many ranges in the late 40s and 50s, Thermador, Philco and Admiral to name a few.

This group is great. I was at a loss what to do. I am hitting an old appliance store in Memphis next week where a friend said he saw an entire room filled with shelves of antique appliance parts. That store may be as much fun as the cabinets and attic here. Any clue best way to clean the hammered copper finish backsplash and ventahood (Rangaire)? It works perfectly just want to show its glory.

Cooktop is an odd one to me. I've heard of Suburban but not seen a cooktop from them. Kind of looks like a Thermador or Chambers imitation.

The wall oven is self-cleaning, the thermostat for it might be hard to find (and the problem could be something else too). The part number for the thermostat is 7534371 but before you try to locate it, you should look at it more seriously. If the oven doesn't heat, things like the contacts in the clock/timer for the automatic/manual oven might be bad. If it heats but it's not accurate, then the thermostat is likely bad but it could be something else...

Since the control panel glass is already cracked, I would advise you to find another old Frigidaire wall oven to replace it. These ovens are narrower than most current ovens so you'd have to find one like that if you don't want to modify your cabinets. The good news is that any Frigidaire double wall ovens from the 1950s to the late 1970s will have the same dimensions (with the exception of Flairs) and they can be acquired for dirt cheap.

Yours is a 1967 model, one of the first self-cleaning models.
