1961 maytag highlander lint filter

I've been looking for one for years. Trouble is they rust out at the weld under the cap. And did you know there was a fabric softener dispenser that sat on top of the whole thing? Not a little cup, either. A bowl style, just like on the GE filter-flo. I have yet to ever see one of those. Our 142 never had one.

is it all metal and the same as a non highlander? have and extra one from i think its a 62 ish ?? like an A700 machine

yes,it is a all metal one and it should say maytag on top.

Does anyone have a good one for me? It said Maytag in the center, and lint filter and detergent dispenser was written along the circumference. They were the same on the 160, 142, and 700 series.

its not rusty the bottom is a little out of round but you could bend it back to orig shape

got the filter today.man that was fast! it looks great in my highlander.thank you! i will post pics when i get my new camera,my old one took crappy pics.don
