I have a question the lens over light on control panel was it glass or some sort of plastic?

My mother had a 1963 Lady Combination I thought that lens looked like and felt like glass, but I have a friend who has a 1963 Lady Dryer and that lens seems to be some sort of plastic?

Also had another friend that had a 1963 set 70 Series and lens around the controls looked like they were glass, or were they all high grade plastic material?

Plastic. My 64 Lady K 800 dryer has a plastic lens. It doesn't look it but it is.

GLASS LIGHT COVERS ON LKMs

RDCs right and in fact I don't think there was ever a glass lamp cover on any KM laundry product WP did have a glass control panel around 1954-1956 on thier TOL washers & dryers, see if someone can remember one with glass panel that I forgot.
