Ah - the Maytag Combination Washer - Dryer. Dream machine!

Not sure if she is waking up to do laundry or going to bed. Suspect that she won't be sleeping soon - once that machine goes into spin cycle - the whole house will be'a shakin'!

Thats cool Ben! Thanks for posting all that! Larger families drank Kool-Aid in the summer back then.We never had soda pop or chips at our house unless my parents were hosting a party. Then us kids got the left over snack items the next morning. I think it was like that for most families that had more than a couple kids. (we had four) The mothers tried to make the most of the grocery dollars, so snacks and sodas were seldom purchased. Lots of Kool-Aid ,iced tea, crackers, and cookies from scratch though.

Wonder what dad was smoking in that pipe..... Oh yeah, the weed came a few years later. Like around 1966.

Sure is a "baby boomer" sales flyer. I am sure that is what the marketing people were targeting with "the family" shown in every page.
