Very interesting---but keep the doors CLOSED on the TV-the pix tube has a serious case of "tube screen rot"the glue holding the safety glass screen panel to the tube's screen has rotted out-difficult,dangerous to replace-best to get another picture tube-if you can find the old "round jug" color tubes.I would get it just for the Hi-Fi section and never mind the TV-keep the belly doors closed!Use the console as a stand for your new flat screen TV-pipe the sound thru the Hi-Fi!!!

Nice set if you like the style, looks to have been taken care of. I wouldn't worry too much about the CRT, sit it face down in a kiddy pool on a sunny day and that glass will slide right off in about 30 minutes. -C
