On Craigslist San Francisco is a 1966 or 1967 Frigidaire Custom Imperial Electric Dryer for sale ($135) in the South Bay Area (Fremont/Union City/Newark) It's ad 3236604496. Computer challenged so I don't know how to post the pic.

That doesn't seem like an outrageous price.
Frigidaire CI Electric Dryer
This was a fairly good dryer and it used the same Electronic control that was used on the frist LKM electronically controlled machines used. It was interesting during these years Frigidaire had two different CI washers and dryers in the line up. This is the cheaper version, the more expensive version had an all porcelain cabinet, foot petal door opener, sprinkler fill reservoir behind a door on the left side of the control panel and more chrome trim on the left and right front edges of the cabinet.
It is still a great deal and if I didn't already have a turquoise set of these I would consider getting it.

John, can you explain me how the electronic dryness controls worked on these dryers? I have only seen one of these dryers that's still in use and apparently, it hasn't worked correctly for at least 20 years! (it doesn't stop by itself anymore!). Working correctly or not, I hope I'll get it some day!
