These were posted for scrap for free. Since I had the frigidaires and trailer, figured I’d scoop these up on the way home. Worst case is they’re junk and I save parts off of them. That seems to be the case here. Would have been fun to save but they’ve been outside way too long. Washer does not energize at all. Quite icky and was half full of water. Interesting dryer being it’s only a model 720 but has a lighted panel. I like the Bakelite agitator.

YAY, worth saving just for parts.

Those lighted consoles would look bitchin' in the washroom.

I don't remember ever being aware of GE offering this style washer panel until this web site. This horizontal button style got GE away from the long-standing 5 cycle buttons of 2 cotton, w'n'w, delicate, and special and offered what I think was a PP cycle with hot water wash-bweing the PP sturdy

Nice top-of-the-line GE washer

Too bad it’s so rough but you can’t save them. All. Does this one have the three or four speed clutch?

The agitator this uses was my favorite GE standard capacity agitator in the filter flows. It was much more effective than the ramp agitator they used earlier turning over heavy loads.

1968 offered two different Programmed TOL's. They were in the brochures.

I have been looking for that Straight-6 Black agitator for my collection. If you ever decide to sell parts, please let me know.
