1970 Maytag A206/306 Set

For sale is a Maytag A206/306 set. White, and nearly complete, except for the washer agitator. Talk to Volvoguu87, I think he has a turquoise spare or two and is only a couple of blocks away. The washer will need the transmission oil replaced as it’s gotten thick. (I had to heat up the machine with hot water, before I could do wash at a normal speed) and the dryer probably needs to be re-lubed. There’s a post somewhere where we tore this machine down and serviced it, but I haven’t used it in eons. $75 obo.

That was the washer I had growing up. Hopefully it and its dryer mate will find a good home.

The knob on the dryer was replaced since the picture was taken.[this post was last edited: 5/14/2018-11:08]

The dryer knob was replaced, but with an actual Maytag part. The picture shows the current knob. It just isn’t the chrome like the original. They used the later style clear knob on the replacement dials.
