update

have had an offer of 300, just to reiterate guys, if i dont get any more offers between now and sunday the 7th then it goes for that price, J.

Im not so sure...

...that advertising the offer made so far is very pleasant or fair on the person offering.

In past dealings like this on this website, all bids and bidders names have been kept a secret and the highest bidder has dealt in private while the transations took place.

Ebay keeps peoples highest bid information a secret for fairness.

After this has been done only then is it perogative of the winner to say what they paid for it if they so wish to do so.

This thread could potentially cause a lot of ill feeling and sourness to a great group of friends on this site.

Something as a "Fellow Collector" you may recognise as being unfair too.

Quite Agree..........

Sealed bids are the way to go- and personally I think whoever has the top bid is prepared to pay far more than most of us would.
As a case in point a fellow collector has a machine of similar rariety and vintage(Not me- although one of mine could probably qualify as well). They paid under £200 for it from Ebay and it really is pretty much mint and unrestored.

Just my 2 cents.........

fair enough, i wasnt sure how it works on here, if you are interested then bid, if not then no worries. i am keeping bidders confidential though. id keep the machine myself if i wasnt out of work and needed the money. ta, justin
