Spotted today on reddit. I really like the double oven and the Maytag washer and dryer. While not everyone will agree there are aspects to the interior that are my cup of tea. I also like the light fittings, just wish there were more globes to compliment them.

Questionable decorating ideas

Boy you got that right Matt, it’s amazing what people can come up with to ruin otherwise pretty nice house.

I won’t even get started on all the ugly furniture. At least that’ll all get yanked out of there after the estate sale or the dumpster arrives., This house could look pretty good.

Why oh why why do people build such big decks on houses that are absolutely useless why not build a nice screened porch that you can actually sit in and use.

You should never use a wood floor with wood cabinets in the kitchen. It just clashes too much what are people thinking.

I do love the red shag carpeting around the bathtub however that’s really practical, lol

As they always say, no one ever went, broke under estimating American design taste lol

Rich People with Kinky Tastes

What's odd is the first floor reminded me a lot of the Brady Bunch house. But the upstairs was disturbing, I doubt that Carol and Mike Brady had a mirror hanging by chains over their marital bed.

Looks like a mishmash of 60's/70's/80/s and 90's in one home. Interesting layout. Then kitchen seems a but small for a higher end home. Someone went to great lengths wallpapering the upper story in photo #9.

The round bed.....

.....with the round mirror hanging over it - reminded me of Sue Ann Nivens (Betty White) on the Mary Tyler Moore Show. I think she had a similarly "racey" bedroom!

I have dark brown carpet on my stairs and upstairs hallway.
Hey - it doesn't show the dirt!
(I also have gray wallpaper in the stairwell and hallway....)

Classic!

the TV is even era correct :) The bed with the mirror overhead is very disco era. Thick carpet in the bathroom seems to have been a 1968-82 thing-judging by monkey wards catalogs of those years. Some of what is seen is tacky beyond belief, while some of it I like.I think i heard the Poltergeist house is up for sale and that movie was from '82

The red shag has to go-and HATE carpets in bathrooms and kitchens. They can get messy. What is with the older CRT TV on a stand???These went out years and years ago.A flatscreen is truely BETTER!And has the proper screen sapect ratio for newer programs and movies. Also agree on the HUGE deck-and it will need to be plowed in the winter. The enclosed sunroom patio would be better. Will pass on that house.Just bought my own NEW 2022 home hear in Arber Hills South. The place is all mine-paid for with a settlement check from the old house burned in the fire. Now I have to get furniture.Just bought a WP washer and dryer thru Lowes. Was delivored yesterday-will try them when I get home from work!Need underwear to wear as my Dad used to sing out on that.Made the stepmom so mad!

The kitchen reminds me a lot of the one in a neighbor's house, built about the same time. It, the laundry, and bathrooms look pretty nice.

The upstairs view of the stairwell makes me think of the lobby in a motel I stayed in once.

Lordy, that red bedroom is awful. It does look like something that belongs in a house of ill repute.

That bedroom is awful-shows some folks only have taste in their mouths.Wheres the window curtains-sometimes folks are you know in their bedrooms-now everyone gets to soo you parading by the window in the buff.
