Will definitely be something like current speed queens especially their front loading machines.

The TR model top loaders will be particularly reliable as it’s the simplest full sized automatic washer ever built.

Materials are just so much better today than they were in the 70s and 80s. To say nothing at the wonderful Quality Control today it’s very rare to ever find a new appliance with any defect from a decent manufacture.

I agree with John. It's pretty much the same that goes with vacuum cleaners, in my opinion the 90's had some better vacuums. Nowadays, there are very few companies like SEBO (who also made vacuums for Kenmore) that lasts just as long as Speed Queen.
