Well, since we're talking about Green laundry lately..... I saw the new Whirlpool >>> Maytag washers today. It is a direct drive with a traditional dual action agitator stainless steel basket the difference is the tub guard which has three spray flumes in the circle, placed in three directions. It uses 65% less energy, 49% less water and load sensing technology for better cleaning while still saving water and energy they clam. He He i saw the picture on the lid spraying the clothes with very little water in the tub. Could you imagine a direct drive in little water? Ooooh my, I hope they reduced the speed lol. So have anybody seen or heard or maybe washed in one yet? The model number is MVWC6ESWW MAYTAG'S version... Can someone get a link to it still learning how to do it. Darren k
