info on the new duet washer by whirlpool?

hello to all of aw members i would like to have some info on this particular whirlpool duet fl washer model and would like to know what it means when they put an allergy cycle on the washer could this be how they name the sanitize cycle now or is it a brand new cycle?

and would like to know the diffrence between the 2004/2005 m

and i would like to konw what the diffrence is between the models i have now and to the newr maytags fl models thanks?

I don't know; I'm thinking it is the SAME as the Sanitary cycle. The certainly look better in my opinion. I wonder if the new designs STILL have an aluminum spider? They took that max rinse feature away on these new models from what I can tell...I don't see that option at all anymore.

I actually looked into this tonoight becuse the NSF protocol certifications are different for the Allergen Cycle and the Sanitize cycle. the Allergen heats the water to 131 degrees and holds it for 3 minutes. the Sanitize heats the water to 154 degrees and holds it there.

I suspect the Allergen cycle to default to better rinsing as well.
