I am placing this link here so that it can be searched by anyone who needs this faucet. You can do a Google advanced search for this term and reach the same result along with a lot of others that are just faucet adapters, but if we have it here, you don't have to deal with Google. This is the faucet made by Central Brass that I have for my portables. It is solid cast brass that is chromed and is MADE IN THE USA. Central Brass has done something to their website so this faucet can't be found there, but it is still avaliable from several online sources. If you do not want to buy it that way, you can go to the Central Brass website and use the dealer locater to perhaps find it within driving distance. If you want to check availability with your local plumbing supply, the stock/style no. is Central Brass 0282.

I wonder just how many more years it will be available.

Found while doing a search for this term

I was given a portable dishwasher with a butcher block on top for free. The guy claimed it worked. The only problem is, I have no idea how to attach it to my faucet. It seems as if everything is in tact; the electrical outlet, the 'insides' of the actual dishwasher, and the faucet connector. But, I can't connect the dishwasher to my faucet. am I missing a piece? when I try to connect it to the faucet, the black tube with a plastic connector piece doesn't latch on to the faucet.
As you can tell, I have no idea what to do. any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

"Am I missing a piece?" Yes, but of your brain, mostly. The use of the word "faucet" indicates a familiarity with indoor plumbing. Talk about casting pearls before swine.

You Need A Faucet "Quick Connect" Adaptor

That will fit both the faucet and dishwasher.

Basically it will look like what is seen in the link. You unscrew the current faucet aerator and swap it out with one that works with your dishwasher. I use a bit of plumber's Teflon tape but that is just Moi.

Sizes are pretty standard but one usually takes the current aerator to local hardware or plumbing supply to make sure of a match. If you can find the original owner's manual for your DW it may list the proper part or kit by number which will make your life easier.

Thank you all.

I didn't think to search for a dishwasher faucet. I think this one (or the replacement) would work fine although I prefer the look of this one to the replacement.

Not the faucet, but...

If you can find the drain hose from the DD WP machines, the non-ribbed end that attached to the pump is a smooth collar. It slips perfectly over almost any portable dishwasher's drain end of the unicouple. Cut it to the length you need to reach the bottom of your sink and do away with splashing and excess steam in the kitchen. The other end of the hose with the tapered end for the stand pipe makes an excellent vacuum tool. The drain hose is just the right diameter to fit on a vacuum cleaner hose and the narrow end gives a nice sized tool for reaching places that even some crevice tools don't fit.
