OK...thanks, I always wondered where Lidl products came from....
Luhns..good to know, looks like most of their products comes from there ....on the section private label you can clearly see bottles of W5 (W5 is Lidl's brand for some cleaners) floor cleaner from Lidl....
As it was said, it's hard task to realize the list of ingredients....I don't really recall if there's a full ingredient list in doussy softeners bottles...I think not, I also find crazy that LIDL store does not have a piece of sheet to give their customers mentioning ingredients of products they sell, this is inacceptable lack of seriousness! Even if as they say this softener is no longer carried since 2008, last time I got in a Lidl (1 month ago or so) they still had these softeners over here! Not sure about UK or Ireland.... Maybe they no longer have the sun scent but hell they still carry these softeners produced by Luhms elsewhere! They have all the same bottle!
What you could do though, is write an email to Luhms trying to investigate the complete list, maybe even of the blue one and others, you can say it is needed to your allergist or dermatologist to determine an allergy you have for them and that actually may help out much..they should help you I think after this, unless they lack of seriousness in this sense like LIDL.
Since looks like this Luhms still produce many products for Lidl, and maybe even cosmetics (as I can read they also produce cosmetics) I think for now until new developments of the matter you better stay away from buying these kind of products from them as the thing you're allergic to may easily be found in their cosmetics or other cleaning products also, that may be found anywhere from dishwashing liquid to multipurpose cleaners or also cosmetics as foam bath or shampoos (here we have a summer sun scent shower gel branded Cien in lidl, maybe the same scents of the softener???)
I cannot help much...my suggestion for now is to try other softeners and avoid Lidl ones of course, if you've developped or are developping an allergy you may still try to use hypoallergenic softeners and see if it is okay....that would be wise to do until you don't find out what's the cause.
If you became allergic to certain scents or colors is not to exclude this will repeat with others than lidl ones.
I think we cannot help you much or better than you can do by writing to Luhms and ask them, allergy tests may help also...as I said it may regard a wide range of products you use daily, cosmetics, cleaners etc....not only the ones from Lidl of course...
Good luck
