For an extra $500.00, you can trick out Frigidaire's "15+ ways to cook" stoves (induction, electric, gas) with a 750 degree F pizza oven feature including a pizza stone and peel (oversized spatula).

Now, if I also made a lot of pita, nan and other flatbreads, I might consider it, but for now, Air Fry turns out the best pizza in my Frigidaire induction stove.

Looks like their ovens get hotter in this mode than a regular range would, almost to the point of self cleaning. How safe is this in a residential setting, because self clean locks the oven to keep the user out. These are probably their next generation of ranges and an "excuse" to raise the price.

Yes; Being as they already have a self clean cycle I'm guessing , then it's not really an over reach in costs to program a 700 deg cycle in where the door stays unlocked. Not something I'd want to use in the summer for sure.
