thanks

Thanks Cory, the samples I picked out were "matte" finish also, but I found out they came in gloss and all the more wanted them where I find the gloss is more a vintage look. My grandmother had gloss turquoise counters in her kitchen with gold flecks of glitter in them. Was very cool. I don't know if I would have gone with the matte finish. Anyways, I am thrilled and love it. Thanks again :)

aaaawwwwww, thank you Jon, it is good for me isn't it, LOL, I was waitin for that .......... like a boomerang, it comes back at ya.

One of these days...

I still keep the samples of turquoise, coral, and charcoal on my desk so I can look at 'em.

Glad to know they come in gloss, as I like that better than the matte.

Looks great, Greg!

hi veg

thanks veg, I like the gloss much better too, I don't think they had "matte" back then ? I love the coral color too. What would have really done it for me would have been to have a metal/aluminum trim edge along the front but I just don't have time to research that. I tried a few websites and made some phone calls and didn't get anywhere, so the guy who installed them for me put a piece of maple along the front to compliment the cabinets. I like it but I probably would have prefered metal or have the laminate along the front too. Its so good to get rid of the old tile counters I had. I HATE tile countertops.

Very nice

I love the light between the windows, and the glow of the other light. Also, that new sink and faucets totally "work".

Bravo!

Greg, beautiful job!!! Retro boomerang countertops + vintage SS Hobart KitchenAid DW=the RIGHT combination!!

Now to find a Flair range!! ;-)

Greg, way way cool. I particularly like the light and sink area. And I agree, the glosss is far better option.

Also, please post the full model # of your DW. Bob

Beautiful

That looks great Greg. Nice job. I don't know much about '50's lighting, but that light between the windows looks pretty cool to me!
