70's Sunbeam/Wards Mixmaster Photos (for Scott)

Today I finally got around to dusting my Montgomery Ward (rebadged Sunbeam) mixer off for a photo shoot! It's in really nice shape and doesn't appear to have had much use. Works great as well and the speed control is very responsive. Here's the complete ensemble, with 1 small, 1 large bowl and the original cord:

This particular model does have the top attachment port (unfortunately I don't have any attachments for this one...yet), and the handle rotates to eject the beaters like your typical Mixmaster!

Close-up of the attachment port...the little metal stud you see in the middle locks the handle upright.

Finally, a shot of the mixer detached from the base. Makes for one HEAVY hand mixer; tired, aching hands will be pleading for mercy after only minutes!!!

Really nice, I never knew Subeam rebadged the MM for department stores as HB did so well. Yes they're a heavy handmixer but for mashing a huge pot of potatoes right on the stovetop they can't be beat. Doing it in the bowls always sends potato chunks flying.

Very nice Austin, I do remember it for sure...just didn't know if it still had the twist handle and juicer port, and it does! Very nice indeed.

Pete, at one time both Sears and Wards sold rebadged Dormeyers. After they went bye-bye, Sears went with HB and Wards with Sunbeam.
