It was standing room only tonight as the Sunbeam Automatic Control Panel made its debut in the kitchen!

The crowd, while consisting largely of members of the Sunbeam family, also boasted members of such exotic clans as Saladmaster, General Electric, Oster and West Bend.

Even the lovely but reclusive Maid of Honor, pretty in pink, took her place for this picture. (Ignore the Sharp microwave - it somehow snuck in. I don't know where the bouncer was)

(Not pictured was the Magic Hostess, who was busy crushing ice. Which is kind of odd, since appliances are notorious teetotalers, but she's always been an odd duck)

Thousands of kilowatt hours later, everyone has gone back home. But it's a night they will remember for quite a long time.

Six at a time?

OOOH lookie a parade of small appliances.

SACP seems a bit of a loose character to me, allowing everyone to stick prongs in, especially as other watch.

Dan that was perfect!! I know a good time was had by all and I am sure they are all longing for a repeat of the event!!

Housewarewares show reunion?

Are you inviting appliances to your house for a 1958 Housewares Show reunion? If not, you've certainly succeeded in recreating part of the "Carousel of Progress"
(love the Saladmaster frypan).
... Now after your three Martinis, don't forget to shut off the timer or they may just all turn on in the middle of the night! ... Mr. Mixette will be doing pirouettes around your feet at 2AM.
