I was just cleaning out the closet in my home office in preparation for the hopeful & eventual sale of my house & found something that has been dormant for years. A Polaroid Camera! I used to love these things as they were so easy, but then again the film was much less expensive back in the 70's & 80's. Now it only seems to be found on ebay. I guess progress must progress, no matter if we agree or not.

I just thought I'd share this with y'all as it too is now a relic of the past.

Thank you for reading & have a Grateful Day!

I, for one, loved the look of Polaroid photos, and I mourned the Polaroid's demise. A great find!

I had a Polaroid in college and took many photos of friends and places. They're fun to look through 25 years after the fact.

Memories.

Remember the "Swinger" that only took Black and White Pictures ? If I recall, they took smaller pictures than the "Land Camera". And then that little tube of Schmear that you glazed the picture ? That stuff smelled pretty toxic. Eddie

Oooohhhh....that smell.....

The toxic smell ... oh wow.... I actually kind of liked it.... That, and I think your post may have induced a flashback!

Swinger

"Meet the Swinger,Polaroid Swinger! It's more than a camera,it's like it's alive! It's only nineteen dollars and ninety five.Swing it up,it says yes, take the shot, count it down, zip it off. meet the Swinger,Polaroid Swinger,Meet the Swinger."

Amazing how many comercials I've got locked in my brain!
