...both small Chinese made cheapies and both made in 2019:
first was a GE: condenser airpath plugged with debris,flammable refrigerant warning.Working good after cleaning.
-2nd was an"ACL" R410,plugged condenser-working good after cleaning.
I don't think an appliance shop would clean these for less than the $99-150 cost of similar units.I remember looking for a new small AC,~5000 BTU, in 1991 and found a WCI white Westinghouse for $210 as the cheapest I could find

BOL window AC's go here for under $100. I guess it just wouldn't be economically feasible have old AC's cleaned at those prices.

It's very disappointing that people can't even clean their own coils, though...
