With the wobbling in line 41, it's a Kelvinator too. This guy loved his machines and had a rich washer fantasy life. Imagine a GE/ Frigidaire/ Kelvinator.

This looks really awsome - I wonder why it was never produced.
I don't see with this type of design how it could have used the filter flo. I would love to see it in action.

Actually this is nothing like a Frigidaire and only ever so slightly resembles a Kelvinator in the one way drive. It’s a total Philco except instead of one rubber disk this design has two agitation discs that wobble in opposite directions of each other in order to keep the wash load from rotating clockwise around the tub during agitation. The Philco does slowly rotate the wash clockwise around the tub and the text of this patent claims that the Philco-like rotation slows the turnover down. I wonder if a prototype was ever built? I bet the water stream hitting the filter pan would splash all over, too cool!

Seems to me that the articulated joints in the agitator are the most likely points of early failure in this never-manufactured design.
That is too fun - it would be great to see some prototypes of these old patents. It really makes you wonder if they were ever built - even just for fun in a garage or after hours in the factory research shops.
This would be a boot-maker's dream washer, almost as loved by the rubber companies as the Bendix Economat! I wouldn't lay a wager on how long all that rubber would last under normal use - especially with Mrs. Overloading Bleacher at the controls!

I don't know why but it reminds me of It's A Small World at Disney Land. Similar to all those dolls spinning and twisting around.... Could you imagin It's A Small World in a washing machine theme? It's a wash world after all...... Machines from all over the world. We could go down the little river in a spinning filter flo's. You guys can work on the theme song.
