very cool!
That actually looks in really good condition, I couldn't see any rust or bubbling on the cabinet or paint.
But they sure do have that drain hose crammed far down into that drain hose port!
I wonder if the drain hose has been cut & shortened?

Have exact same model
Drain hose will go down deep into the cabinet if you chose to push it so; lord knows there is plenty of space and it only is just connected to the pump. Other than that nothing more than one metal "guide" to direct hose upwards.
Only thing that *might* happen is the hose comes out of said guide. An easy fix by opening back panel, though it doesn't affect how washer operates. [this post was last edited: 5/26/2018-15:17]

I know exactly what you're talking about.
I have/had the same model as well, and have been into that opened back panel a few times. I was real anxious to get the lil HOOVER 510 twintub washer when I first bought it. But that wore off after a while from dealing with the tangled, balled up puzzle of strappy unmentionables!

So I passed it on to my aunt, who moved into a lil bachelor triplex apartment with no washer hook ups. I figured, it's better than having no washing machine at all.
But one thing I do miss about that lil HOOVER twintub is the spinner! Boy could that thing spin dry!
Yes, it was kinda loud, but it was a familiar sound from my very young childhood years (3 years old?) When my grandma or aunt would use it, while I was there being babysat.

When first got my Hoover TT was that excited.
Thing was in near mint condition and it was first *vintage* machine.
Well the excitement soon wore off when one realized just how much work using the thing was, and the noise got on one's nerves. Would literally have to have a lie down after taking something (or having a drinky) afterwards.
Despite what all those glowing videos and owner's manual state cannot see doing a "family" wash in Hoover TT. Maybe for small items and bath linens like towels, but shirts, bed and table linen were just too much work.
