Thanks Eddie, I will try your version soon, we really need a method to track all the great recipes on this site. Sarah had mentioned trying to start a thread for Kelly recipes, I dug up a few, but it never materialized.
This is the bread I made, like with all Millennials posting stuff the writer gives too much info, but still a good loaf of bread. I'm looking for something akin to the Brownberry/Arnold's 12 grain bread I buy at the store. I like it as a change to the heavier sour-doughs I normally make.
I just made some Oatmeal Scotchies and used the Flex Edge beater with the pouring shield and placed a small piece of plastic wrap around the open area at the back of the shield.
I’m so impressed! I didn’t have to scrape the bowl at all, the ingredients all stayed in the bowl and the cookie dough was mixed thoroughly and completely. Now thats a machine thats doing just what its supposed to with a minimum of extra hassle. Fastest I’ve ever whipped together cookie dough and I’ve been baking cookies since 1962.
