Ok, I'm almost ashamed to admit that I've never done this following repair but I haven't because i consider these machines to be like the BIC cigarette lighter...disposable. But, I would like to know exactly what all is involved in replacing the , as I call it, the main bearing seal above the transmission. I have seen so many of these machines leak at this spot. I have a very nice one that washes great. It is the model with the lighted console that lights up 15,12,9,6 minute wash and rinse and final spin lights. I would like to keep this machine for myself but as it stands right now, I wash in it outside because of the small trickle of water that is coming out at that seal directly beneath the tub. Any takers on this repair explanation? Any special tools involved or is just not worth fooling with?

Didnt make myself very clear but it is a front access machine , maybe 2 years old in mint condition.
