When I showed up this morning, this is what was running. She (the lady's one I am working in) went outside to do something and my painting and cabinet refacing turned to a PEEK at this machine Lady Kenmore 35 years old. OY I could have gotten caught! Runs real well.

Wow love the washer with all the buttons and the compactors like my portable unit. I painted it white though, it may like mine have changeable front panels behind the avacado.
And what about that floor, looks like those "foamy" 60's carpet tiles, and the "wood" panelling. What does the rest of her house look like "back to the 70's"

Steve, you've hit the Ladty Kenmore 1970s mother load. Can't wait to see the inside of the dw. "Never worked", could be a spray arm rotation problem similar to the rotorack Gansky1 had when he was growing up.

Words can't describe my excitement

The washer still has the label.
That paneling. I never thought I would be fond of that but I grew up with it and well, it's comfortable.
Look at those avacodo countertops. Again its comfortable. Although we had 60s teal/turquoise with gold flecks in it.
Could there be "Z-brick" on the walls, orange curtains on the windows?
Lucky, lucky you. I would pay YOU if I was there to help you out.
I hope you score that "Married with Children" Bundy's washer too. My aunt also had that same model and color washer (w/sudsaver) from 1972 with electric dryer.

(Can we get more pics of the house?)

I can hear Huey Lewis singing

"Back in Time" when I look at those pics. That washer is stunning!
I agree with the others, lets have some more pics of the house!

Ok, Am off to work again at her house today. I will be there all week, so with permission, I will seek more pics.

The flooring is a very high grade vinyl. It is dirty, but in very good shape. And yes, the home was built in 1972 and has never been really updated. Her bathroom is to die for. Black marble and even a chandelier above the hugh marble tub! The entire home was done with all TOL items. Thanks for enjoying with me. More fun today

Steve

Thanks for sharing

Yes the seventies were a strange time for design, lots of
wanting to get back to nature, or get away from it or something! Cool that she let you take the pictures. That will be a fine dishwasher for your collection.

That washer looks identical to the one that my sister got with their house serveral years ago. That reminds me that I should go over there and talk to the new owners about that machine!

That DW looks almost just like the one that Gansky1 posted on here from his wash-in! That's a nice machine! There's lots of indicator lights and stuff on that control panel!
