Yesterday afternoon, I got to show off some of the collection to some US visitors! Ralph (ralph611) and his partner Nicholas were visiting Montreal and managed to lure them away from the bright lights of the big city.  I didn't take a lot of pictures (because I was constantly yapping...) but I wanted to share those I did take.  Ralph picked the 56 Norge for the wash, but I had to show off the spin speed of the 51 Frigidaire and the Westinghouse 'Singing Signal' to Nick.  I think we won him over to our side.... LOL

Ralph took a few pictures and hopefully will see this and them!

It was a very short visit however it was great fun to meet Ralph and Nick.

Now off to do the dirty dishes they left me with...LOL

Paul,

Lots of smiling faces!  How 'bout that - a private wash-in.  You know, you could make yourself known to travel agents and could become something of a sight-seeing stop when folks vacation north of the border.

Good to be able to put faces with the names!

What's with the ceiling over the dryers?  Was anyone in danger of being hit from something falling?

Ceiling tiles

Lawrence, we had to remove a few tiles when our water pipes froze in December.   And I really need to improve the dryer vent connections - I may actually hook up at least one more dryer this year... perhaps one that matches a certain 1957 Filter-Flo machine!!
