I took a trip to Milwaukee yesterday to visit Ms. Tania. Her birthday is in early September so I brought her an early birthday gift. A early 60's Apex Aero-Cleaner. Here is the first picture.

I Was Worried
Since I was only able to get the machine and the hose. I figured that if anyone could get the attachments, she could. I wasn't disappointed, she had the wands (very unique) and rug tool waiting in the garage.

We Then Headed Up to Duane's
In Mequon. He has a great vac shop there. We then headed up to West Bend where Duane lives. He has a whole building in the back of the acre he lives on with a storehouse of vac accumulated over the years. Here is an unrestored Air-Way two-motor.

Wow great pictures Fred!!! I didn't know Apex still made vacuum cleaners in the early 1960's, they stopped making washers by '57 and I just assumed they were out of business then. So the plot thickens.

The Apex
The Apex is actually branded White-Apex and marked with the White Sewing Machine Co although it has Apex on the top red handle. We were talking about the evolution of this machine and its manufacturer. Inquiring minds want to know if the White was the predecessor to WCI. Or is White Sewing Machine a different company?
