coffee judged using a blind taste test?
as Ben said. I am curious what it was about the GE that made it best the Sunbeam 'Beehive' CoffeeMaster. Not saying it didn't just curious as to the details

I'll admit it, it wasn't exactly a blind taste test - something more along the lines of one of my "totally unscientific washer (or dishwasher) tests"... LOL
However, the coffee from the GE seemed to be more mellow than the Sunbeam. I think that brewing in all-glass pot may have been a factor. Now, if I could just find the flipping stove unit for a later-model GE glass vacuum potI got last fall, I could do a better test. Stay tuned!
