At least six gay men have been murdered in Iraq since Thursday.

Disavowed by their tribes, Muslim leaders calling for the death of all gays, a genocide has begun.

How close we came to the christianists doing the same thing to us in the US under shrub, we now know. The question is, what is the US and NATO going to do about this? I have written to my government and demanded they take action.

Political correctness and tolerance are all fine and good, but some things are wrong, period. Letting religious bull-shit free reign leads to this sort of mass terror.

These gay people were disowned by their families, which should clue us in on what we're dealing with.

Bush and Cheney, along with flushing 4500 Americans lives and a trillion dollars down the toilet in Iraq, also misled us about the Iraqi people, portraying them as a big wonderful group of human rights and democracy champions. Nothing could be further from the truth. "Islamic" countries remain the most brutal, repressive, totalitarian governments on Earth. Bush's good friends the Saudi Arabians will toss you in jail if you're caught reading a bible, and let's not forget that 15 of the 19 9/11 perpetrators were Saudi nationals.

So what is there to do? Bring our troops home and let Iraq revert back to what it's always been, and probably will always be: a civil war-torn, totalitarian "Islamic" shithole. It's going to happen anyway, no matter how much life and money we throw at it. The idea that another country can bomb them into common sense, or submission to our own sense of common morality is Vietnam delusion all over again.

The Bush administration should have realized that those Arab countries don't operate in a democratic manner. For centuries you are at the mercy of the king, or Allatola's whim and fancy.
Their culture just does not fit in with democratic ideals. We should have known this in the first place.

And these are the people that Hillary Clinton want to have conversations with and Obama want to handle them with diplomacy. Animals.

At least they're not the ones who, "misled us about the Iraqi people, portraying them as a big wonderful group of human rights and democracy champions."
