AEG W&D Set in USA

Not sure how seller got these units to work, as they are 220v/50hz but he claims they did.

Shouldn't be a problem if you already have a 220v dryer outlet. AEG were on the market here in Canada for approximately 2 minutes a couple of years ago last I saw then they all seemed to go on clearance (very cheaply) and disappeared. I've not seen one for sale since anywhere.
