Hi everyone, I know this is a long shot, but does anyone know of a place I can order an Agitator shaped cookie cutter ? Preferably a Kenmore or Whirlpool shaped one from the 70's I need to make cookies for a party and want to add my little flair to them. I have been searching online to no avail. Thanks for the advice and help...

I don't know how much work it would take, but I'm wondering if you could modify the tree made by a Christmas tree cutter maybe by cutting the upper boughs of the tree after cutting the cookie or bending them down to make it look more like an agitator. You would probably also need to cut the point off the top and the trunk off the base.

Another alternative would be to take a photo of the agitator and have it made into frosting stamps that could go on round or square cookies. We just had a retirement party where we had those stamps on top of cream cheese icing on little muffin-sized cupcakes.

yep, Tom's right

It would probably be the quickest. Get a needle-nose pliers, a cutter of similar shape, and remake into the profile of your washing machine fantasy.

What is a frosting stamp

I wanted one years ago in the shape of a Mixmaster and never found one. I took some Parchment paper and made kind of a stencil in the shape of the Mixmaster with the help of a friend who is an artist. I used powdered sugar and the stencil to make a Mixmaster on top of the cookies. It was cute but not as cute as if the cookies were in that shape. Wish I had taken pictures of them.

A frosting stamp?

In the scouts, they used to make go ask the next troops camp for bacon stretchers and sky hooks also.

There is a frosting technique where they can transfer pictures to frosting. They can do a large cake or make small stamps similar in texture to fondant that are put on a cookie or cupcake after they have been frosted. For the 2002 washin, we had a bakery transfer the picture of a Westinghouse 1000 pair on top of the sheet cake. It took more than a decade for us to find them in the flesh, or metal, so to speak.
