First shown in 1997 this programme is an almost complete summary of the British domestic appliance situation from 1945 to around 1960. Full of old film footage, and "vox pops" from both users and sales people, it is one of the most comprehensive and accurate documentries I have ever seen. Even some 13 years later, I still enjoy watching it.

So grab a coffee or your favourite beverage and relax for 30 minutes of sheer enjoyment.
