I was trying to find some info on my "Mathes Cooler" and came across this site. I didn't know it was the same company. Kind of a fun site. Now I want a big honkin CM Stereo for my new house.

EXCELLENT WEBSITE!!And made up by someone that used to work for them.Yes,one of their console Hi-fis would be very nice to have-a vintage tubed one.I didn't like early SS-had a crappy sound quality to it.The tubed systems were so much better!Like Magnavox,Packard Bell,Scott,Fisher-other console Hi-Fi builders-they are now history.If consoles were built to the quality of these anyone buying them would need the monthly budget payment plan!It is good that these brands were so well made many survive and still work today.Would love to see an Urbex explorer video of the plant in Texas.Wonder what is still there?Machinery used to build the CM units-or even better-undelivored sets still there in that site waiting to be delivored to a showroom!
