Help Support :

$150 starting bid ????

And a $10 handling fee for you to come pick it up, when YOU are going to be doing the "handling".

Prop for the movies? Gimme a break! I know for a fact that H'wood has many warehouses with nothing but props. And their prop for a RR would be just the shell, for scene takes.

OMG...the idiots are running amouk on fleabay.

!978 Amana

My wife won an Amana Radar Range in a sales competion at work, in 1978. She knew you could not cook eggs, in the shell, but thought maybe you could if they were in water. She put two eggs in a glass, filled it with water and put them in the microwave. When they got hot enough, the eggs exploded and went off like a cannon shot out of the glass and shattered the plastic shield and stirrer at the top of the machine. One repair after it was two weeks old, not covered by warrantee.

Think I will leave "E-Rook" alone from now on---JD and HD mixers,Bojack Hoover vacs---and now an Amana Microwave where the seller CHARGES you a $10 "handling fee" to pick it up yourself-Wonder what he charges for shipping and HIS "handling"I am going to hunt the Sat AM yard sales more after seeing the crap going on on E-Bay.You would think the folks that run EBay should prohibit sellers from charging a "Handling fee" if the buyer picks up and transports the item himself-think the EBAY folks should DELETE such entries.

I didn't notice that..

I agree. $150 is high for a starting bid and I never understand why someone wants to charge me to come and pick something up. After all, if you're saving them the work of shipping they should be crediting you a little bit. My little sister had one of these in storage for the longest time. It was in "like new" condition. When she told me she took it to Goodwill I wanted to cry. She said she didn't have room for it anymore. I told her you make room for these kinds of things!!

I payed 10 dollars for my Radar Range

I was driving though central Oregon and happened on my Radar range in a thrift store and i payed tem(10) dollars for it. The nice and buff little sales guy even loaded it in the back of my car for me. It weighs a ton. No plastic here. So for them to charge 10 dollars to pic it up is a total racket!!!! Plus i did not have any rust on it, any place. i use it everyday and it works fine after having it three years. Just a thought.
