Apparently that's what they used to clean up the conflagration that resulted from the jet fuel leak after the fiery crash under caution.

it was tide alright-i watched that race and was amused to see tide used to clean
up the jet fuel mess.My grandpa once used tide to clean a crude oil tank so it
could be used to store grain-grandma had to go to town and buy up all the tide she
find LOL.

In an apartment complex I lived at some years ago, there were a few cars that leaked oil rather badly. After these people moved, there was a significant amount of oil splotches in various parking spots.

One of the maintenance guys took a hose to these spots to wet them down, sprinkled Tide on them, scrubbed them down with a commercial grade hard bristle broom, rinsed, and VOILA! The oil was gone.
