Fox News has announced they've signed up Sarah Palin under a multi-year contract. According to Fox "Governor Palin has captivated everyone on both sides of the political spectrum and we are excited to add her dynamic voice to the FOX News lineup".

Actually, they're wrong on a couple of points: She's no longer "Gov. Palin" after having decided it's easier to quit than finish a semi-difficult job (I label it as that because Alaska is one of a handful of states with few budget problems, due to oil money), and secondly plenty of us were never captivated by her, disgusted and appalled would be more like it.

I'm with you there. All I could think of the first time I saw her was, "Okay, where'd they get the slut from?"

Everything about her says white trash skank and the only reason she's gone anywhere in the political world is because she looks like she can smoke pole.

Oh, she and her family are really something else! If it doesn't work out for her on the "news" program, the Palin bunch could have their very own "reality show"!

Minor correction: It's another reason not to watch Fox News.

I solved that problem years ago by canceling my cable TV service. Just get broadcast TV now, and with multiple PBS stations and good digital reception from the rooftop antenna, I get by just fine. For the occasional cable series that I missed, I usually can get the full DVD set for less than what the cost of just one month's cable service would have been.

Do you know how close we are to seeing Fox News implode on itself?

Both Rupert Murdoch's wife and daughter are ardent Obama supporters, and campaigned for him during the last election. Also, Matthew Freud, Murdoch's son-in-law and the great-grandson of Sigmund Freud, despises Roger Ailes. Read what he said a few days ago:

"I am by no means alone within the family or the company in being ashamed and sickened by Roger Ailes’s horrendous and sustained disregard of the journalistic standards that News Corporation, its founder and every other global media business aspires to."

Ailes responsed by saying Freud "needs to see a psychiatrist". Keep in mind this is his boss's son he's talking about!

The end is finally near for these fascist dickwads.
