I know there are some reallly cool people here who know their stuff when it comes to electricity. I read an article a while back about a topic concerning what is called "PHANTOM ENERGY." Well to explain myself a lil better, that's the energy that your electronic clocks and memory on your tv's use like on your microwave clock etc. Does anyone here have any charts that may help the understand how much energy is used on a yealy basis like this?

You may find info at www.pge.com. That is the power company that serves most of Northern California and they are on a campaign to end "standby" mode on all appliances. I think the items you mentioned would also be factored in and they likely have some figures posted showing the average amount of energy used, possibly on an annual basis.
