Our neighbors had one, and my friends in California have one in their fabulous circa 1950 sunny yellow kitchen. I always thought it was the coolest thing, and I had no idea until I visited Mark a couple weeks ago that they were still made. He said they always had them in their home, even with an automatic dishwasher.

I'll definitely get one for my next place!

Wow! I saw a few of these at a plumbing specialty store in Houston when we were going "toilet shopping" for my grandmother...LOL

Thought it was pretty nifty and good for handwash only dishes...maybe I should buy one!

I'm glad they still make the Imperial 4 model. That's the one I remember seeing qite a lot when I was a kid.; Haven't seen a ONE since then, until now.

Clever, particularly the automatic soap dispenser.

Another thing I like is foot-pedal sink controls, like what you have on the sinks in doctors' offices. Keeps both hands free for washing dishes (or in the bathroom, washing your face/hands or whatever).

I just purchased a new Imperial Four Model M76. I love these! I had one in my other house and really enjoyed it, so it wasn't a question about getting anything else when I remodeled this house. Scott, I'll call you this week. Erik

Dishmaster Imperial 4

My great Aunt had one of these in her kitchen, mounted on the wall (1926 house, so the pipes came out of the wall instead of up through the sink)
