Hi All!
I found an awesome Hamilton Beach mixer model C this weekend. Great shape, large yellow glass bowl, missing the small bowl, with the original cord. I would like to know the appox. date it was made, and if the original bowls were yellow. The cord is kind of brittle. I hate the thought of changing the cord, as I would like to keep it all original. Any thoughts on this?

(I'd provide a pic, but I haven't figured out how to do it yet!)

pre-war

There's one on ebay right now and it looks like it's from the 30's. The only thing is the one on ebay is PINK. Perhaps it is not original paint, but it sure looks like it is. Maybe this is one of the earliest pink appliances - long before the big 'think pink' phase of the late 50's.

Yellow bowls point to the thing being from the 30's also, I do believe.

yellow & black

oooh...the one shown at the HB museum is yellow and black, very similar to the pink and black one on ebay. I bet those are original colors, and it probably came in the green color like the milkshake mixer too, and perhaps a blue as well~.

Neat looking antique mixer.

Bobby, what do you mean you don't know how to post pictures! No time like the present to give it a try...

btw I got my Honeywell Roundie finally a couple of weeks ago at the HD in Port Huron MI. Wasn't happy with the price though $45

Petek,
I know I have to learn about this picture thing. Me and new tech stuff don't mix. The Honeywell Roundies are great, but they are not cheap. $45 sounds about right.

HB Mixer Handle for model G

Hey Bobby and Guys!
Bobby, that pink does not look original to me since it is so vibrant. I would have thought it should be more pale pink. But, I am not sure on this one. Bowls are fairly easy to come by-even the older ones. Keep looking in thrift stores. Also, keep looking on ebay. Another thing here, join the WACEM group on Yahoo. Shoot me an email of you need more details.

Guys.....anyone have a black Bake-O-Lite handle for a HB model G? I won a really nice one on ebay and when it arrived it was cracked in half--bummer! I would appreciate it!

My email address is [email protected]

Thanks Guys!
