Anyone have a Mock Pink Champagne recipe?

I know I do down in Ogden, but I'm back in the city for a couple of days and we're throwing a reception on Monday night for some of hubby's students who don't drink alcohol... If anyone happens to have a vintage recipe that they could recommend, I'd be grateful. I've used one from an early 60s BH&G cookbook that was great, but said book is mocking me as it's down in Ogden and I'm not...

Mock Pink Champagne

Here is the one I use.

Mock Pink Champagne

1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup orange juice
2 cups cranberry juice
1 cup pineapple juice
2 bottles lemon-lime soda

Boil sugar and water until the sugar dissolves, and allow to cool. Stir cranberry, pineapple, and orange juice, and chill. Prior to serving, add carbonated beverage.

Just use Cherry 7-up or Cranberry Ginger Ale
