This is the one that came from so called some kind or piece of Maytag repairman out west selling off NOS and other parts. It turns out he had done it to me as the agitator did not have a spline, and is meant for later automatics only.
Only agitator is being offered as am keeping the rare lint filter for the moment. Have the spline part (NOS from same seller, it was the least he could do), but again am not sure am going to part as it is the hard to find rubber/metal, not plastic.
Am just looking for a few bits for the agitator, know it is cracked and even after cleaning still has quite a bit of hard water deposits. Largest cost would be shipping one shouldn't wonder.
