I hate to get rid of my early 50's Whirlpool Mangle, but I recently found a very cool vintage aquarium that will take it's place in the kitchen.
Probably best if you're in California and can pick it up, but I can put you in contact with my shipping buddy who runs OH to CA about once every 6 weeks in the winter.
I bought the Mangle at the local swapmeet about 4 years ago for $40. It's in great shape, works, and still has the original instruction card taped to the inside fold down table. It was missing the original cotton cover for the roller and the owner had pinned a pillowcase in it's place. I've left it like that. The covers are available on ebay.
It's got knee controls as well as hand controls, some great fold out tables and chrome hanging bars and is just cool as it gets. It's white with plenty of chrome.
If you're interested, make me an offer.....would like to get the $40 I paid for it. I'd also like to see it go to a good home.
