I have a bagless Dirt Devil vacuum from Goodwill for $5.00. I am not proficient with leaf blowers and usually get more on my head than the compost. I looked at the vac and said, "what the heck.” I am amazed at how well it works, how the dirt is dirt, not dust so the filter doesn't clog and I finish the parking lots and side walks in a flash.

If my memory serves me, Frigalux bought 800 thread count sheets and a conversation ensued. Remember when 300 thread count was considered luxurious? I have two sets of 800 and one that is 600. When ever possible they get line dried. If not, its Permanent Press Ultra Care and out of the dryer while the seams are just barely dried. The bottom sheet goes on the bed and then using a Rowenta Professional the bottom sheet is ironed. The top sheet gets folded in half while the edges are pressed. After putting the top sheet on, the surface is pressed. There are 4 pillow cases and they are then pressed on top of the sheets. It takes less than 5 minutes and 800 pressed threads are sheer luxury. So proud
of the new method, I fold back the bedspread and using the mattress as an ironing board, there's no need to set up an ironing board for the quickies. Must be a sign of advancing age that the quickies in this bed are with an iron.

I have a B&D food steamer

it great for steaming vegetables.....

but theres more uses.....steam and sterilization!

toothbrushes
sponges
small toys
baby bottles and nipples
hard boil eggs

I also use an air compressor with a hand nozzle with a long tip...blows out lint from the dryer, and use to vacuum or should I say blow out, the dirt from the car, it puffs up the carpet and cleans out dust around the dash controls better than any crevice tool, just open all the doors and direct the air flow towards the doors, you will be amazed!

you can also use a canister vacuum exhaust port to fill inflatables like pools and beds and large toys if you don't have a compressor near by!

use a hand mixer to mix paint in a can, or put a beater onto a drill...

and how many of you guys put the baby on top the washer/dryer to put them to sleep?...or do you RIDE it yourself?...lol

I bought one of those Shark steam cleaners a few years back for the house. It worked wonders on my carburetor when I rebuilt it. Got every crevice, orifice, and passage squeaky clean.
