There's thinkgeek.com out there for all sorts of shirts from the world of computer geekdom. Well, I think it would be cool to make some appliance geek T-shirts. Here's some ideas for some:

Computer geeks wear shirts with obsolete computer logos, like Atari, commodore, etc. Howabout if we use some obsolete appliance logos on our T-shirts

Thinkgeek also has some catchy silly stuff like "There's no place like 127.0.0.1 (the IP address for home) Howabout some catchy slogans like that only we could understand?

We could use basic appliance phrases like "Imperial Deluxe", or "Laundromat" in the classic Westinghouse script

Or, howabout a print of your favorite control panel on a T-shirt?

We could also put an old advertising slogan on a T-shirt

LOVE THIS IDEA!

I'm in the process of designing and screening T-shirts for my other website and would love to do a few of these as well - I just need someone to send me the Logo's and fonts we want and I can make great T-shirts! - Let me know!

I want a

center dial Maytag, with "It will Never Die" as the legend, and AutomaticWasher.org on the back.

I think this is a very cool idea, but there are copyright restrictions to consider, however.

Damn the copyrights! I refuse to let go of my notion of us as wild-eyed appliance cowboys who have spurned the shackles society has placed on us. We run blindly, passionately, along the edge of a great precipice, laughing at fear and sneering at the ridicule lobbed at us by our less-enlightened peers. WE DANCE WITH AGITATORS!!

Making t-shirts sounds like a great idea!

If a Kelvinator Foodarama shirt was made (I know it's not a washer or dryer but I'm madly in love with it) it could say something like "All this in a compact 47 inches"
