Anybody watch the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel? It's on Amazon and set in 1958. I think they did a decent job with period pieces but the one thing that stuck out to me was in the pilot episode there was a wall oven that really said 60's to me. Wondering if that style was used as early as '58. In the parents apartment set they used a more appropriate stove with dual ovens and the round windows believe it's a Western Holly range.
Not really appliance related but I did spot a few things that were out of place. A number of the lamp shades were obviously plastic with the pleated material on them very 2000's. Also a moderate use of the word "nerd" not sure it was in the vernacular at that point in time. Overall pretty well done, costumes looked great as did the sets.
BTW, not sure were to post this, kind of vintage appliance kind of not...
