Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

hi Alex,
mine is the same, but hasn't the fan (is this a Favorit 8081 or a 6061 ?)

Any news about W5000 W6000 release in DE ?

Hi!

Nope. Nothing on the Miele homepage about new washers or dryers.

This dishwasher was actually branded as Privileg so I don't know which AEG model it would be. It had six cycles, a fan, display with delay start, and four LEDs to remind you to check: rinse aid, salt, water intake and filter. Bought in 1999.

Very nice machine, sure wish we had something like that here. Love the way the buttons light up as well as the tub light. How long does a full cycle take? Thanks for sharing.

Wow, that is one quiet dishwasher. I like the idea of the window, too bad the light doesn't stay one during the wash cycle.

Mark thanks for the video, it is a very nice dishwasher. I am sure with that "fine" screen filter it does quite well even though it does not prewash. Many americans remember our older machines that especially the d&m kenmores that prewashed, rinsed, washed again and rinsed 3 or 4 times. Of course those old dinosaurs were fun but they used lots of water, with no filters they were designed to grind up any food waste left on the plates, but they left sediment on the tops of cups and in the machine too if you crammed enough in there. Nice video nice machine. Thanks again alr2903,,,, love the window

US dishwashers and water usage

Hi alr2903,

as far as I know, even modern US DW use a little water than EU ones, cause :

- They don't use the internal heater unless "hi temp boost" is selected

- They are hooked up a 120°F/50°C water line

So prewash and rinse before mainwash are used to heat up load and tub before the 3rd fill(main w)

Even some TOL Euro Mieles (ie G2872, actually your La Perla )
have a "no heat" program with one more prewash (double prewash, main wash, two rinses = 80 mins).

This cycle can be used with hot fill only .
If water intake is lower than 110°F the machine stops into alarm mode and warns to raise boiler/furnace temp

This cycle is very handy when too many appliances need to work in the meanwhile,as it avoids electric line overloading. Wish every DW had it !!

yeah
it's easy and user-friendly dishwasher,i love key-type program selection in every dishwasher cause there is no need to having many choices to choose for starting the cycle.just start the perfect one!
I prefer this type of machines because is't easy to handle for every one

by the way my mother's washer is ELECTROLUX which is much more older than me and still out standing to my mom
